History of the Foundation

The Yukon Chernivtsi Regional Charity Foundation has been operating since 2008, although the first steps were taken long before that. Why did we decide to take care of this business, which made us think about the fate of those who need help? We are a group of like-minded people who were helping people but did it spontaneously. The foundation is not backed by any influential government officials, political parties, or business structures, with goals far away from the legal field. The foundation is not designed for election campaigns or money laundering. We just consider it our direct responsibility to play a positive role in society, trying to change it for the best.

Why do we do this? And how not to do it? We are energetic, open, and optimistic. We have a roof over our heads, we have food to eat, we have work to do. We can do our favorite things. However, there are people who do not have many basic things, who live in poverty or have health problems. Every day we see how people cannot wait for help from the country, lose faith in charity, how disease becomes an object of ridicule and contempt but not compassion. That's why we decided to unite the community's efforts to help people as well as health and social care institutions. Everyone sees their own reasons for donating to charity. Nevertheless, all philanthropists are united by the desire to help someone, to make someone happier or healthier.

Financial Reporting

Transparency and openness are among the key principles guiding the work of the Yukon Chernivtsi Regional Charity Foundation.

Since the foundation was established in 2008, we have been working to ensure that our charitable assistance is not only timely and effective, but also as transparent as possible for our partners, donors and everyone who supports our work. That is why on this page we have compiled information about completed projects, the assistance provided and the results of our work.

For many years, the foundation has been supporting educational, medical and social initiatives, assisting educational and healthcare institutions, implementing humanitarian projects and helping to address the community’s pressing needs. Our work has taken on even more significance during the war, when our main efforts have been focused on supporting the military, internally displaced persons, those affected by the fighting, and critical institutions.

This section contains reports on the delivery of humanitarian aid, technical equipment and computer hardware, as well as support for educational and medical institutions, charitable campaigns, donor initiatives and other projects implemented by the foundation in collaboration with partners and concerned individuals.

Every completed project is the result of the joint efforts of donors, volunteers, partners and the foundation's team. We are sincerely grateful to everyone who joins our mission and helps to change people's lives for the better.
