IT SchoolKids #Chernivtsi

Since the beginning of the War, thousands of families in Ukraine have been forced to leave their homes and move to safer regions of the country taking only the bare minimum of necessities with them. Children, in turn, are deprived of the opportunity to continue quality education and communicate with their peers. It is important to maintain stability in the development of children and not stop this process so as not to lose what has been achieved. As the new school year begins, much of the education is offered solely online due the active phase of the war, leaving children the only option of continuing their studies through technologies connecting them to their lessons. As of today, according to the request of the Ministry for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine, 130 thousand schoolchildren are in need of devices that would give them access to education.

To ensure access to e-learning for small Ukrainians, the IT Ukraine Association in partnership with the Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (NUCC) and the Yukon Charity Foundation are implementing the joint project, IT SchoolKidz #Chernivtsi. Tietoevry, the international company, also joined the initiatives. Thanks to the project, schoolchildren from the families relocated to the Chernivtsi region will receive computers for studying.

We draw your attention to the fact that the goal of this project is to help as many families as possible, so the distribution of computers based on the result of considering each application individually is possible in the following format: 1 computer per family.
