Immediately after the start of hostilities on the territory of Ukraine, we realized that we need to maximize our own efforts to help the victims. Together with our Dutch partner, we started fundraising in the Netherlands and Ukraine. Thanks to these donations and the active work of the Yukon Charity Foundation, we were able to receive the first humanitarian aid from Poland, and the foundation arranged the transportation of this humanitarian aid.
Concerned volunteers in Poland contacted food suppliers and bought everything necessary at the lowest prices on the market, as we are looking for opportunities to buy as many products as possible to provide for more people. With the help of donations, we were able to buy essential food, namely flour, a variety of meat and vegetable pâtés, canned beans, spaghetti, pasta, etc. Moreover, one of the charity foundations in Poland provided us with first-aid kits (240 pieces) and 1 defibrillator absolutely for free. We were online with our volunteers around the clock, consulted with each other, and sincerely cared that all purchased food arrived in our city successfully. Despite the fact that organizing the delivery of humanitarian aid was a new experience for us, we successfully coped with it.
We are not going to stop but to continue our active work directed at helping the victims of hostilities on the territory of Ukraine.
