On February 12, with the support of the YUKON Charity Foundation, Yurii Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University received 20 state-of-the-art Dell and HP servers for its use.
The donated equipment will significantly expand the university’s technical capabilities, contribute to the improvement of the educational process and the development of scientific research, and ensure the stable operation of internal information systems.
The implementation of this initiative was made possible through collaboration with international and Ukrainian partners, notably Wim Bos, founder of Lumiad, as well as Tjerk Geersing and Mykhailo Shkurey, co-founders of Yukon Software. The donation is the result of many years of fruitful cooperation between these companies and the university’s Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics.
Following the official handover of the servers, a meeting took place between the university’s management and representatives of the partner companies. During the discussion, the parties outlined future prospects for cooperation, including opportunities for joint research, the development of innovative educational projects and the further strengthening of the university’s technical infrastructure.
The YUKON Charity Foundation will continue to support initiatives aimed at developing education, science and modern IT infrastructure in Ukraine.
