Thanks to a special sensor, the device detects infrared radiation from the eardrum and ear tissues, enabling a quick and accurate measurement of body temperature.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The device offers the following benefits:<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The temperature is measured in a fraction of a second and displayed on the screen in digital format;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thanks to the replaceable hygienic tips, sterility is ensured and the device can be used repeatedly;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The ear measurement method is more accurate than underarm or oral measurements, as the eardrum reacts more quickly to physical changes in the body;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The procedure is comfortable even for young children and patients who find it difficult to hold a standard thermometer.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Use in medical and educational practice<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The device can be used:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in healthcare facilities for rapid patient screening;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in emergency situations when time is of the essence;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in simulation scenarios to train medical staff in the rapid collection and analysis of patient data.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The donation of this equipment was made possible thanks to the initiative and support of Mykhailo Shkurey, head of the YUKON Charity Foundation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The YUKON Charity Foundation continuously provides support to medical and educational institutions, contributing to the development of high-quality medical training in Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The YUKON Charity Foundation has donated state-of-the-art ear temperature measuring devices to the Centre for Simulation Medicine in order to strengthen its material and technical resources and support the high-quality training of medical professionals.
